I had an interesting stay at Barcelo Torre De Madrid. The location is a major win, being right in Plaza de España and close to public transport. However, I found the hotel layout a bit confusing, with the reception on the second floor and no staff to help with my luggage. The room was clean and spacious, but the decor felt simple, and I had some hiccups with my laundry service that made me uncomfortable. Overall, there were definitely highlights, but I expected a bit more for a five-star experience.
